The 2013 Pinot Noir Hellenthal Vineyard Old Shop Block emerges from one of the most highly regarded spots on the Sonoma Coast. Deep and generous at the outset, the 2013 loses some of its persistence on the mid-palate. Dark cherry, violets, lavender, mint and spices add nuance, but overall, the 2013 lacks depth.
