Note di degustazione
Moving to the Pinot Noirs, the 2017 Pinot Noir Cushing's Block comes from the higher elevation, cooler Bennett Valley in Sonoma County. It reveals a lighter ruby, almost plum hue to go with a classic bouquet of mulled red and black fruits, forest floor, and Asian spices. A Burgundian, medium-bodied, beautifully balanced Pinot Noir, it offers nicely integrated acidity, supple, light tannins, and a great finish. Drink this terrific effort any time over the coming decade.

Medium ruby in color, the 2017 Pinot Noir Cushing’s Block opens with tones of blood orange over black cherries, tea leaves, underbrush and spices. The palate is light-bodied, bright and spicy with a fine anchoring grain and long, fresh, nuanced finish. 311 cases were made.
The 2017 Pinot Noir Cushing's Block is a delicate, gracious and ethereal wine with very pretty notes of crushed flowers, dried red cherry, blood orange, mint and chalk. This is an especially perfumed, floral style but there is good energy beneath all of that.
