2017 Domaine Joseph Voillot Pommard Les Rugiens 1er Cru

The 2017 Pommard Les Rugiens 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet, the most exuberant red fruit out of all Voillot’s 2017s with vivid red cherry and crushed strawberry aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannin, precise and quite linear, just a touch of balsamic towards the finish. Not quite as ambitious as the Les Pezerolles, but this is still a very fine Pommard.
