The 2015 Novicium is fabulous. Rich and ample in the glass, the 2015 is both opulent and yet also wonderfully aromatic, in large because of the high percentage (67%) of Cabernet Franc in the blend. Ripe red cherry, plum, mocha, licorice and lavender give this wine its mid-palate pliancy and texture. All of the signatures of this site come through in a mid-weight wine that will drink well upon release. Quite frankly, the 2015 Novicium is better than many other top labels in this vintage.
