2022 Domaine de Roc des Boutires Pouilly-Fuissé Aux Bouthières 1er Cru

The 2022 Pouilly-Fuissé Aux Bouthières 1er Cru is quite succinct on the nose, scents of sliced pear, melon and a little nettle. For the first hour or so, it is a little reticent and then it becomes more "vocal". The palate is really quite excellent, lent nerve by the thread of acidity, refreshingly malic for a 2022, just as linear as the previous vintage with hints of chamomile towards the finish. You could drink this now. You could chuck it in your cellar. Do both!
