Note di degustazione
The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is loaded with blueberry jam, spice, gravel, chocolate, spice and mint. Inky deep, the 2016 offers a good bit of up-front intensity, but also comes across as overly tannic, even for a mountain wine.

A wine of presence and power, Constant's 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is shaping up to be a beauty. The crème de cassis, lavender and spice notes are quite primary, but that is not especially surprising. Texturally, the wine is very pretty and full of promise. I can't wait to taste it from bottle.
A barrel sample, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon sports an inky black color and delivers vibrant cassis, baked blackberries and warm black plum scents with touches of tobacco leaf, cedar chest, tilled earth and dried herbs. The full-bodied palate is simply singing with black fruit and earthy notes, framed by firm, grainy and nicely ripe tannins plus plenty of freshness, finishing with long, lingering herb and baking spice layers.
