The 2003 Chardonnay opens with mature notes of bruised apples, mushroom paste, cheese rind, saline and dried herbs with an undercurrent of crushed nuts. The palate is mature, savory and salty in character and finishes with surprising elegance. This has aged beautifully, but it's time to drink up.

Peach skin color. Subtle, cool aromas of citrus fruits and herbs. Dense, brisk and minerally but pliant, with fleshy fruit flavors of citrus, apple and pear. Lingering finishing flavors of orange, stones and spicy oak.
