2009 Gevrey Chambertin Lavaux St Jacques

(100-year-old vines) Palish bright red. Very ripe cherry aroma lifted by a rocky perfume. Sweet and creamy on entry, then a bit youthfully aggressive, with a note of resiny oak giving the finish a slight dry edge. I love the wine's perfume, but it's not following through in the mouth yet.
