Winemaker Jayson Woodbridge doesn't like to give up too much about his wines, but he did allow that the 2020 Chardonnay Lazy Lounging received a combination of stainless steel and barrel fermentation, extended lees aging and virtually no racking. It's slightly toasty, with scents of grilled corn and citrus on the nose, while the palate is medium to full-bodied, plump and generous without being over the top. Hints of mocha and barrel char emerge on the long, silky finish.

The 2020 Chardonnay Lazy Lounging is another beautiful white from this team. Ripe orchard and caramelized golden fruits, hints of spice, and beautifully integrated background oak all define the nose, and it's medium to full-bodied, with a layered, opulent mouthfeel, remarkable purity of fruit, and a great finish. It's not for the Chablis-only crowd, but this is one brilliant Chardonnay to enjoy over the coming 4-6 years, if not longer.
