Produced from a blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, and 17% Cabernet Franc, the dark ruby-colored 2000 Camaspelo offers pencil lead, blackberry and herbal aromas. This medium-bodied wine exhibits sweet black fruit and spice flavors that end abruptly in its short finish. Additionally, this wine lacks the density, fat, and concentrated fruit to merit both a higher score and its price. Drink it over the next 5 years.
