Note di degustazione
Myriad's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard is gorgeous. Dark red cherry, plum and mocha notes abound, with attractive floral/savory overtones that add nuance. Open-knit and juicy, the 2011 should continue to drink well for another decade or so. This is a terrific showing for the vintage.

(14.9% alcohol): Bright ruby-red. Cassis, licorice pastille, violet and bitter chocolate on the nose. Dense and juicy; tight but not hard, with intense black fruit, violet and licorice flavors dominating. Finishes with firm tannins, very good length and a light touch, with a hint of herbs adding to the wine's complexity.
The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard possesses good fruit, an attractive berry character, medium to full body, a plump, complete mouthfeel, some spice and blue and red fruits in the finish, and no angularity or vegetal characteristics. It should drink well for 6-9 years. Tel. (707) 287-1630
(from a Conn Valley vineyard on a ridge above Lake Hennessy): Good bright medium ruby. Slightly grapey aromas and flavors of cassis, violet and pepper, with a strong element of bitter chocolate oak. Slightly drying tannins currently cut off the wine's fruit, giving the finish a hard edge.
