1997 Clos de Vougeot

Sweet red cherries and spices can be found in the aromatics of the ruby-colored 1997 Clos Vougeot. This soft, silky-textured, jammy wine has a medium-to-full body, and a plump flavor profile that reveals creamed cherry flavors. Opulent, forward, and slightly warm (alcohol), this offering does not have the structure required for aging and should be consumed over the next 4-5 years.
