2015 Gevrey Chambertin Les Jouises Vieilles Vignes

Bright red-ruby. Sexy liqueur-like aromas of boysenberry, blackberry and licorice, plus a minty nuance that reminded me a bit of Cabernet. Fairly densely packed but light on its feet, conveying lovely definition and inner-mouth floral lift to its dark berry and violet flavors. The longest and broadest of these 2015s to this point, finishing with building tannins and noteworthy perfumed lift. Its small-berry intensity gives this wine a fairly serious structure for a village bottling.
