2021 Chambolle Musigny Les Amoureuses

The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru includes 30% whole bunches and is matured in 50% new oak. The aromatics take time to open, eventually revealing Morello cherries, orange rind, a light marine scent with a hint of wet limestone. The palate is very harmonious with veins of blue fruit, fine tannins, well judged acidity, gently building towards a lightly spiced finish. There is fine symmetry and poise interwoven into this Amoureuses, it deserves 4-5 years in bottle. Excellent.
