Punteggio 90-93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Deep ruby-red. Black raspberry and subtle oak on the nose; this shows much more energy and verve than the Latricieres, which comes off as dull by comparison. Sweet, chewy and complex, with sharply delineated black raspberry and mineral flavors. This has creamy depth. Finishes with dusty, buffered tannins and excellent persistence. As impressive as the Bonnes-Mares, but the Bonnes-Mares is more elegant.

Louis Jadot
Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
