Note di degustazione
The 2002 Pinot Noir Moonshine Ranch has some of the composty underbrush and forest floor components of Pinot Noir also displayed in addition to plenty of currants, sweet berry fruit, and a hint of cherries. The wine is textured, ripe, medium to full-bodied, and attractive. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. Tel. (707) 525-0570; Fax (707) 525-9463

Saturated ruby-red. Dusty aromas of black plum and meat; less vibrant than the Martinelli Vineyard example. Then large-scaled and rather powerful, with strong blackberry fruit and considerable sweet oak. Less delineated and fine than the Martinelli Vineyard pinot; finishes with bigger tannins.
Informazioni sul produttore

Martinelli is a Sonoma benchmark for vineyard-designate bottlings—wines built to highlight how strongly a single site can shape Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Zinfandel. Across the range, the focus stays consistent: small-production bottlings that feel distinctly tied to where they’re grown.
