Note di degustazione
I tasted three Pinot Noirs from Thomas Rivers Brown. The 2014 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a heck of a bargain. Coming from multiple clones such as Mt. Eden, Dijon 828 and the Pommard selection, this delicious, flowery/rose petal-scented Pinot Noir offers up faint blueberries and raspberries, forest floor, a medium body and is seductive. It only saw 10% new oak, so the fruit plays a major role. Drink it over the next 5-6 years.

The 2014 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is juicy, delicious and extroverted, with striking purity and energy in its fruit. Succulent dark cherry, plum, spice and blueberry flesh out effortlessly. This is an especially forward, juicy Pinot that will drink well upon release. Most importantly, the Sonoma Coast is absolutely delicious. Even at its new price of $30 a bottle, the Sonoma Coast is a steal and in my view the single greatest value in California Pinot Noir.
