Note di degustazione
Orange peel, butter, spice, almonds and light tropical-infused fruit are laced together in the 2012 Chardonnay Edward James Estate. Voluptuous and racy in the glass, the 2012 Chardonnay Edward James Estate is a great example of Wente clone Chardonnay from the Goldridge soils of the Russian River Valley. The 2012 spent fifteen months in oak.

The 2012 Chardonnay Edward James Estate emerges from old Wente clones. It exhibits wet pebbles, orange blossom, delicate pineapple and mango characteristics, medium to full body, and a subtle, toasty oak component, but it is not overdone and the minerality comes through brilliantly. Drink now-2020.
Rich yellow stone fruit, smoke, licorice and honeyed notes blossom from the 2012 Chardonnay Edward James Estate. The style is broad, ample and creamy, with attractive honeyed nuances that are likely to become more prominent as the wine ages in bottle.
