Palish medium red. Rather shallow scents of musky wild red berries and brown spices. Plump and pliant in the mouth, with strawberry, spice and earth flavors lifted by a note of faded rose. Finishes with a mass of ripe, dusty tannins but this is essentially an easygoing wine with considerable early appeal.
