1982 Pinot Noir Mount Harlan Jensen

The 1982 Pinot Noir Jensen Vineyard comes across as a bit compact and linear in this tasting, but it still has plenty of energy. Sweet tobacco, wild flowers, mint, dried cherries and worn-in leather are laced into the finely-knit finish. Somewhat faded and ethereal, the 1982 is a wine to drink now and over the next few years at most. This is another where the addition of acidity peeks through.
