Note di degustazione
Deep ruby. Wild array of red and dark berry, fresh floral and incense aromas. Cherry-vanilla and cola flavors are deep and sweet but surprisingly fresh and lively, with suave minerality extending through the finish. This is delicious now.

The dense ruby/purple-tinged, full-bodied, powerful, rich 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Petits Pieds d’Armand offers up notions of sweet black cherry and raspberry fruit, licorice, smoke, and earth. It is similar to the 2006, but possesses more acidity and tannin. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2020+. When Olivier Hillaire dissolved his partnership with Domaine des Relagnes, he took one of their top vineyard parcels, Les Petits Pieds d’Armand, with him. Hillaire is a multi-talented gentleman as not only is he a skilled winemaker, but he also owns the finest bakery in the village of Chateauneuf du Pape. Inky ruby. Exotic oak notes and vanilla accent ripe cherry and red berry fruit aromas. Very sweet, ripe kirsch and strawberry preserve flavors are framed by firm tannins and joined on the back by spicy oak tones. This appears to have ample fruit to carry its substantial oak component.
