Note di degustazione
The 2021 Pinot Noir Momtazi Vineyard is pure and complex. Its raspberry, strawberry and blueberry fruit are accented by touches of allspice, wildflowers, bitters and earth, becoming more expressive as it spends time in the glass. The palate is light-bodied yet deeply flavorful, flooding the mouth with layers of sweet berry fruit. It has abundant, powdery tannins, a bright spine of acidity and a long finish with a flourish of spicy accents.

Its soft textures and pure red fruits soothe, coming across as finessed and delicate as rosy inner florals resonate throughout. The 2021 finishes with medium-length yet impactful, leaving lingering dusty tannins and a gentle tension.
From this notable, biodynamically farmed vineyard owned by Maysara, the 2021 Pinot Noir Momtazi Vineyard pours dark ruby-red and takes on a more reserved profile on opening. It needs time to unfold and reveal its aromas of brambly berries, purple flowers. resinous herbs, and freshly turned earth. Structured and tension-packed, it’s medium to full-bodied, with a weightless feel, and offers a long finish. It’s going to be exceptional over the next few years. Drink 2025-2040.
