The 2012 Friulano Filip is rich and explosive in this vintage. The flavors are beautifully layered in the glass. White flowers, almonds, lemon and a hint of orange peel wrap around the finish. This is a decidedly voluptuous style, but it works.

The 2012 Friuli Colli Orientali Friulano Filip takes this elegant indigenous grape to new levels of sophistication and complexity. This is a brilliant expression in which soft oak renderings are applied to high quality fruit. The texture is opulent and shapely with many layers of yellow rose and light spice to keep your attention.
