2006 Vosne Romanee Les Hauts Beaux Monts Vieilles Vignes

Good deep red-ruby. Pretty, pure aromas of red berries and flowers. Juicy, aromatic and precise; combines a rather silky texture with good mineral firmness. Very smooth wine, with fairly soft tannins. The sand in this high vineyard rich in oolitic rock has contributed a suave character in 2006, notes Clavelier.
