Note di degustazione
Bright medium red; lovely Pinot color. Tangy, cool raspberry and pomegranate aromas are lifted by high-toned spices. A juicy, lively, spicy wine with attractive floral lift and a distinctly tangy quality to its cranberry and pomegranate fruit. Very pure, lively, fruit-driven Marsannay with a supple texture and good intensity. The fresh finish features a fine dusting of tannins and good length.

The 2014 Marsannay 1er Cru Clos du Roi has a refined bouquet with more complexity than the Les Longeroies: blackberry and wild hedgerow gently unfurling with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple red berry fruit, although it comes across as slightly smudged and too easy-drinking on the finish.
