2006 Staglin Estate Chardonnay

Staglin makes a brilliant non-malolactic Chardonnay, and the 2006 Chardonnay Estate (1,000 cases) is another knock-out effort. Crisp, elegant lemon rind, pear, and citrus notes make an enticing aromatic display in this full-bodied Chardonnay that has gorgeously crisp, savory acidity. It will be interesting to see how this beauty evolves over the next 3-5 years.
