O'Shaughnessy's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder is 100% Cabernet from a single vineyard. Gentle herbal notes of sage and bay leaf lead into black cherries and cassis on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate shows more structure and tannin than the winery's Howell Mountain bottling but also more length and a promising, silky finish.

A classic Mountain Cabernet, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder has lots of brambly, mulberry, blueberry, resinous herb, and floral notes as well as full-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It shows the texture and opulence of the vintage yet still brings plenty of mountain tannins and structure. Give it a few years.
