Note di degustazione
Smoke, savory herbs, pepper, tobacco and game are some of the signatures in the Littorai 2013 Pinot Noir Cerise Vineyard. Today the Cerise is a bit compact and lacking in freshness, both of which make me think it will be an uncharacteristically early drinking wine from Littorai. I had hoped that over time, the Cerise would find its balance, but instead the opposite has happened and today the Cerise is less complete than it was a year ago.

The 2013 Pinot Noir Cerise Vineyard is very tightly wound at this stage, with firm, incisive tannins, plenty of energy and tons of potential. The Cerise is quite clenched. If the fruit emerges, I expect the 2013 will come in at the higher end of this range, but it is hard to read today.
