Note di degustazione
The 2015 Chardonnay Ross Station Estate gives up gorgeous lemon curd, white grapefruit and lime cordial scents with suggestions of jasmine, honeyed toast, lanolin and chopped almonds. Full-bodied and chock-full of citrus and savory layers, it has a racy line contrasting the sexy satiny texture, finishing beautifully fragrant. 525 cases were made.

The 2015 Chardonnay Ross Station Estate is powerful, deep and resonant, with striking interplay of rich, voluptuous fruit and structure. The Ross Station is a complete wine with a very bright future. Apricot, dried flowers and chamomile fill out the wine's layers nicely in this potent Chardonnay.
One of the most complete wines in the range, the 2015 Chardonnay Ross Station Estate is superb. Orchard fruit, white flowers, mint, white pepper and citrus notes give the 2015 its bright aromatics and textural feel. There is plenty of nuance and finesse here. This is the only site Hobbs works with that has a mixture of Chardonnay clones including Wente, Mt. Eden and Calera. That diversity seems to produce an especially pedigreed Chardonnay. In particular, the aromatics are super-expressive.
