Note di degustazione
The 2013 Pinot Noir Cuvée Agustina is a selection from the Katherine Lindsay Estate grown in Goldridge soils that contain a lot of cobble. The wine offers up plenty of minerality, black fruits, floral notes, and a full-bodied, opulent mouthfeel. It should drink well for at least a decade or more. The case production of these wines ranges from nearly 6,000 cases of the Russian River to a minimum of 275 cases for the Cuvée Agustina up to 920 cases for the Hyde Vineyard.

The 2013 Pinot Noir Cuvée Agustina Katherine Lindsay Estate brings together all the very best qualities of the Paul Hobbs Pinots. Energy, tension and minerality are all pushed forward. This is a super-distinctive, saline-infused expression of Russian River Pinot with plenty of nuance from cobbly soils. The 2013 was done with fully destemmed fruit.
The 2013 Pinot Noir Cuvée Agustina Katherine Lindsay Estate is supple, layered and expressive in the glass, but the flavors are a bit brighter and more delineated than normal. Blood orange, mint, pine and crushed rocks are all laced together in an unusually precise, chiseled Cuvée Agustina.
