2021 Kongsgaard The Fimasaurus

The 2021 The Fimasaurus is a blend of co-fermented Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from a neighboring property. Racy dark-toned fruit, chocolate, spice, new leather and licorice are all dialed up. As is often the case, the Fimasaurus feels a bit riper than the Cabernet. Time in the glass brings out exotic floral and blood citrus overtones. This, too, needs time to soften. The 2021 is the last vintage of this wine.
