2021 Kongsgaard Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a dense, brooding wine. Swaths of mountain tannin wrap around a core of dark red-toned fruit, iron, savory herbs and graphite. The blend is approximately 50% estate and 50% neighbor fruit, including 20% Merlot. This is an especially reticent 2021, but, then again, we are on Atlas Peak. Give this time.
