2020 Cuvee Christine Syrah

The 2020 Syrah Cuvée Christine is a blend of three vineyards, which is, to say, fewer than normal. Dark-toned fruit, chocolate, new leather, licorice, spice, tobacco and savory notes from the 35% whole clusters all take shape. Vineyard sites are Kobler, Judge and Front Porch. The 2020 is a very good wine for the year, but the aggressiveness of the tannins is impossible to fully look past. Then again, this is 2020.
