A barrel selection and blend that Morlet feels represents his best, the 2020 Chardonnay Coup de Coeur is indeed a prodigious effort. Scents of toasted hazelnuts and white peaches dominate the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is plush and silky, with tremendous concentration and length. It's a complete wine, very nicely done.

The 2020 Chardonnay Coup de Cœur is a selection of the best barrels in the cellar. Tangerine oil, mint, white flowers and lightly honeyed notes all grace this gorgeous, aromatically expressive Chardonnay. Time in the glass brings out the wine's gorgeous creaminess and textural resonance.
The 2020 Chardonnay Coup De Coeur is also brilliant, although all the whites here are beautiful. Lemon oil, honeysuckle, and a mix of stone and citrus fruits give way to a stunning rich, opulent, layered Chardonnay that brings classic California power as well as good acidity and flawless balance.
