(14.9% alcohol; blended with 20% merlot): Bright medium ruby. Pungent minerality lifts aromas of cassis, licorice, flowers and bitter chocolate. Sweet, lush and penetrating; briary, inky and youthfully aggressive in a distinctly mountain way. This full-bodied cabernet has the depth of fruit to stand up to its structure, but lay it down for at least a few years.
