Tasted from barrel, the 2019 Petite Syrah Hayne Vineyard is dark, inky and so expressive. The purity of the fruit is just terrific. Blackberry jam, chocolate, spice, licorice and dark spice all meld together. Unctuous and flamboyant, the Hayne Petite is stellar. In 2019, the Hayne was one of the latest picks. This fruit came on September 28, 2-3 weeks later than normal.
