The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard The Grand Daddy is mostly Clone 4, but they're changing blocks going forward, so I expect future vintages to vary slightly. The 2020 is one of the standouts, and while I don't think it matches previous vintages, it has beautiful, full-bodied aromas and flavors of blue fruits, tobacco, graphite, and incense, with ripe, polished tannins.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard The Grand Daddy is one of the better wines of the vintage. Dark fruit, chocolate, licorice, leather, dried herbs and sweet spice are front and center. It is impossible to escape the hard contours of the year, but the Grand Daddy at least has some mid-palate sweetness. The 2020 is all Clone 4 from the front part of the vineyard.
