2015 Rully 1er Cru Gresigny

The 2015 Rully 1er Cru Grésigny has developed nicely since I tasted it from cask, exhibiting an attractive bouquet of pear, pastry cream, almond paste and yellow plums. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, with a nicely textural attack but good balancing acidity. As one would expect at this address, the gourmand qualities of the 2015 vintage remain quite restrained.
