2022 Second Flight

As with the Cabernet Sauvignon, I was able to taste multiple barrels destined for the 2022 The Flight. Given the heat in the vintage, Merlot was particularly challenging, but this beauty has solid ruby/purple hues, medium to full-bodied richness, ripe, nicely balanced tannins, and outstanding length. It's another beautiful success that will offer pleasure in its youth, yet I suspect this will age gracefully as well.
