The 2022 Marsannay Clemengeots has a potent marine influence on the nose, with touches of brine influencing the red berry fruit and slight damp peaty soil. The medium-bodied palate has grainy tannins, quite terse at first, but I admire its linearity and strictness. It’s a treat 'em mean kinda Marsannay…and it works like a treat.
