Note di degustazione
The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos de l'Arlot 1er Cru has an open-knit, slightly reductive nose that seems to suppress the fruit and render it a little generic for the moment. The palate is more promising with supple tannins, very well judged acidity and impressive purity with just the right amount of grip on the precise finish. Vivid, quite citric red fruit segues into spicier notes as the wine opens. I think this just requires time. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.

The youthful nose of this elegant and lively Nuits-Saint-Georges has a wide spectrum of red berry aromas with some floral nuances. Healthy but gentle tannins that are already fully integrated on the medium-bodied palate. Long well-structured finish with just a hint of toasty oak that suggests this has some years ahead of it. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
Pale, translucent cherry. Not much going on the nose, but there is some sweet, dense berry fruit on the palate and hint of vegetal hedgerow for definition. Roses and peonies too. Persistence and length. Fine, again. (MH)
Cask sample. Hint of reduction but lots of pure fruit too. Not the most complete or refreshing. (JR)
