Note di degustazione
Bright red. Raspberry coulis and a note of menthol on the very ripe nose. A seriously rich and powerful village wine: round, sweet and horizontal. Red fruit flavors are complicated by saline notes of earth and smoky underbrush. Finishes long and sappy, but the serious tannins will require cellaring.

Lightish cherry red. The aroma is startlingly different from the last few wines tasted – more savoury and earthy, perhaps a touch reduced but the red fruit blossoms on the palate. Dry, earthy, firm, a touch austere overall. (JH)
Bright red. Slightly reduced, smoky nose. Juicy flavors of redcurrant and spices complicated by a torrefaction note and suggestions of mint, leather and earth. On the lean side and a tad dry on the finish.
The 2012 Nuits-Saint-Georges is another wine with considerable near and medium term appeal. There is a lovely immediacy and juiciness in the glass. Hints of red stone fruits and spices inform the pliant, supple finish.
