Very scented and fine. Juicy and impressive and hugely succulent. A bit dry on the end but the fruit speaks more than the oak. Nevertheless this needs a lot of time. (JR)

Bright medium red. Raspberry, smoke and citrus zest on the nose, plus a whiff of musky oak. A step up in sweetness and concentration from the straight Vosne-Romanee, offering good fat and richness along with a hint of medicinal red cherry and solid menthol reserve. The persistent, suavely tannic finish fills the retronasal passage with perfume.
