Lots of plums, cedary spice, and floral notes define the 2016 Château Bertineau Saint Vincent, which comes from the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation. It’s easygoing, medium-bodied, balanced, and well worth drinking.

Medium-bodied and chock-full of berry preserves flavors, it has a solid, chewy frame and just enough freshness, finishing savory.
The 2016 Bertineau Saint Vincent comes across as compact and lean, with less fruit and overall intensity than most wines in this vintage. Let's hope this Lalande de Pomerol comes together during aging.
