Opaque violet. Expansive dark berry, cherry pie, vanilla and potpourri aromas are complemented by an exotic spice nuance. Broad and fleshy on the palate, offering concentrated blackberry, cherry cola and bitter chocolate flavors, along with sweetening coconut and floral pastille accents. Firms up with air and finishes with fine clarity, round tannins and emphatic, smoky persistence. Aged for 16 months in a 50/50 combination of new French and American oak barrels.
