The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village comes from purchased fruit from Mauriane Duroché’s father and therefore eventually it will join the domaine. It has a tightly wound bouquet of dark berry fruit, light touches of cherry liqueur and clementine coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded tannins that lend this Vosne-Romanée impressive weight. It really fills the mouth with lush red fruit and a long, sensual finish. It will be difficult to resist in its youth.
