The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru les Plantes, which contains around 10% whole-bunch fruit, has a generous, harmonious and quite minerally bouquet that demonstrates focus and intent. Here we go! The palate is full of energy with sorbet-like freshess, pure dark cherry and cassis fruit with superb tension on the finish. This is a sophisticated Chambolle-Musigny that should offer a couple of decade’s drinking pleasure.
