2023 Nuits St Georges Les Chaignots

The 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Chaignots 1er Cru has a lifted, perfumed nose with redcurrant, wild strawberry and light sous-bois scents. It is far superior to the Les Chênes Carteaux. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, crisp red berry fruit laced with orange rind and a touch of black pepper. Harmonious on the finish, this is a competent Les Chaignots.
