The 2013 Taillefer is one of the more lifted, aromatic wines of the year. Freshly cut flowers, spices and sweet dark berries all take shape nicely in the glass. Like so many wines in this vintage, the 2013 lacks mid-palate depth, which is a shame, as everything else is impeccable.
