1997 Prieurs de la Commanderie

This wine displays a slightly evolved dark ruby color, raisiny, pruny notes in the jammy nose, moderate tannin, and a dry, disjointed finish. While not very elegant or richly fruity, it could be going through an awkward stage of development. Anticipated maturity: 2001-2008. (No tasting note was provided in Issue 128.
